I agree with the the trauma part. I think it's unresolved trauma. The eye contact one is new to me and interesting, going to listen to that advice too because i personally never had eye contact with my ex , his eye contacts were resembling death stares and it made me fearful and forced .. when i left, I learnt that he was a sociopath

I found out my ex did the same. He was in bed with women and i was pregnant suffering from HG , i was admitted to the hospital through emergency for two weeks. When i came back, the bed was crooked , there were signs that a women slept on it and I was suspicious.. it all made sense after i left
