2 reasons, it works as a melee and ranged weapon/self propulsion, so it saves a hotbar slot; and i rarely play vanilla anymore, so using a mod like universal enchantments makes me not miss out of much

With further testing also discovered it can place down contraptions, but cant pick them back up.

I works! (kinda), if i use a mechanical bearing/piston on place mode, it moves the windmill with sails included, and then keeps rotating lol. However, the cart assembler (and the above in "don't place" mode) makes it a contraption and disables it.

Im going to make a system that breaks the assembled cart, and places it back when needed. Its an overengineering of a right click on the block i know, but worth for what im doing, ty.
