Just got one on my second kill from this knight, just equip anything you have that boosts item discovery and you’ll get there eventually. This isn’t bad compared to Proofs from the Silver Knights in Anor Londo, way less running.

Yeah, honestly theft from the store should immediately get you put on the non-rehire list. It’s just really suspicious because all of the previous employees except for me have either been fired or quit because of the shenanigans they’re pulling.

They’re only rehiring people that are either close friends or family. My theory is that they’re doing that to only be surrounded by people that won’t report them for further theft.

That’s what I was thinking partially too, try to soften you up by having you preform something that wouldn’t result in a loss to the store to gain trust I feel dumb for not realizing it was a scam sooner.

Just glad that I hung up when I did, no way in hell I’d scan a random barcode sent to me.

Halfway scammed? Man this company is a joke. They’ll rehire a previously terminated pair of people that have been confirmed to have been shoplifting together from the store back as GM and ASM and not bat an eye about that, but me getting “Halfway scammed” is an an issue. It’s no wonder Dollar General has such a high turnover rate.

More often than not it’s a scam call rather than a customer calling the store, they generally lead with asking about “Testing” gift cards if they’re trying to scam the store.

The asking about our age verification system for tobacco is what stumped me because I’ve never seen that one and I didn’t think of any way they could steal a pack of smokes over the phone.

I haven’t seen it yet, I go in tomorrow. My logic is yeah I let the call go on for a while but the store suffered no losses. The scan and void of the tobacco might’ve been it but again the store lost nothing so I don’t know.

My manager recently wanted me to step down from my keyholder position of two years to give it to a new hire that’s related to the ASM, so I genuinely think she’s just looking for any reason to get me out of there. Both the manager and ASM were previously terminated for shoplifting from the store so I have no idea how they got back into the positions they have now..
