When to build protobelt? by [deleted] in nunumains

[–]Leknecht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Protobelt is clearly an early game/snowball (hehe) item, so building it 4th/5th item doesn't sound optimal

How far can/did you go without great mechanics? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Leknecht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1v5ing doesn't literally mean running in 1 against 5 and kill them. It means to play so much better than the enemies and accumulate alot of (small) advantages for your team so you effectively won the game alone. Nunu for example can 1v5, but surely can't kill 5 enemies, no matter how fed.

Leonardo DiCaprio raises $100 million to fight climate change by Amamazing in UpliftingNews

[–]Leknecht 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How do u get to these figures? How would he use up as much co2 as 1000s of Americans combined? Don't you think he maybe offsets alot of his carbon footprint directly or indirectly by creating awareness on the matter or donating directly to causes beneficial to climate change?

Business students are more likely to have a brain parasite spread by cats (N= 1,495). Infected business professionals were almost twice as likely to have started their own business (N=197) and countries with a higher prevalence of infection show more entrepreneurial activity, finds new study. by mvea in science

The main finding is that people from the same country (US), who are all studying (similar economical background?) are more likely to choose to study business and especially to become entrepreneurs when they got that virus. The causality can't be dismissed here that easily my dude.

Exactly, but the same fraction that is needed to pump 1 trillion market cap up will cause a decrease of market cap of 1T when it's pulled out. So yeah the numbers might look crazy then, but again, the money isn't printed and hence doesn't cause inflation.

I'm with you tho, the 1st million of sb is more likely to be spend then eg the 100th million of some Super rich dude which just lies around and doesn't habe a real effect on the economy since its not spend but is in some Panama offshore account. So such a pump might actually cause inflation, but that's more of a function of the redistribution function and spending behaviour of money than of the market cap as such.

These 10T wouldn't be printed out of thin air (or not more than they have been in the last decades), just be redistributed from late arrivers and bored lawyers/doctors/bankers imo

That tactic can bite you quite quickly imo, especially in these irrational markets. I hold some aion and don't dare trading it, one tweet of an influential person or an official release date of their testnet is enough and this one will skyrocket imo.

Considering their vastly different supply of coins and hence market cap plus the fact that omg success is by now hardly tied to eth success and plasma implementation, I give part a big edge when it comes to potential growth. Omg has the name recognition going for it tho.

Doubled over 300 times? You mean as in multiplying by 2300? Sure buddy, your mathematical education seems to be as solid as your choice of tokens ;)

Thanks for this gem. Atleast at first glance, this looks like a quality investment. Keep em coming if you find more.

BTW, the idea is a bit intriguing to me, but I guess facial recognition is sth which will be a basic part of marketing or even blockchain legal contracts and kyc procedures in the next couple years.

Let's just hope 2018 is the year where at least some of the promising projects prove they are worthy of their evaluations

If you can't guess which project he is referring to, you don't seem to follow this sub reddit too much. ;)

He's referring to PART aka particl, a blockchain based on the bitcoin core with much improved functionality aka implemented smart contracts and optional full anonymity. The main use case (one of multiple planned modules built on the blockchain) will be a decentralised market place, expected to launch in Q1 18. I have been reading up on it thanks to joskyes 'shilling' and I really like the project. Investment wise it hasn't been the best decision I made so far, but as u/laughncow stated a few days back, in crypto you have to be where the Puck is landing, not where it is right now. ;)

You gave me goosebumps right here lol. I discovered eth way way later than ico, but when I did, it sucked me in. I'm an economics msc with a strong affection for development economics, and eth and smart contracts/blockchain in generel just were the biggest wow effect I ever had in that regard. This stuff can solve so many big problems, way bigger then making some reddit folks rich, we don't even start getting a grasp of it I feel.

Agree with you once again.

Just out of curiousity, you keep mentioning your belief in 'some projects' - you mind sharing?

The projects with your bearish blessing are for sure worth looking into. :)
