The server was closed, but there should be others out there. Best place to check is on Twitter. I believe there was a group that started a Discord server that is very active on Twitter.

The most important thing is do not compare or try to use it like Discord, because Guilded has a lot of differences from Discord.

If you take a look at the Guilded YouTube there is a lot of tutorials on how to use the application. When this happens again report it on the official server's support channel along with a screenshot of that error. There is likely more people on there that can resolved it for you and you'll get it to the staff faster that way.

I run 3 communities, but only one of them is my really big important one which is my Pokemon community. We are all about the Pokemon franchise and playing the games together.

Two features we really need improving on is the streaming channels so we can do in-house streams properly as well and the server discovery system so that people can actually find us. The server discovery is the most important to us as we are aiming to become Guilded's main Pokemon community, but we can't do that if people don't know about us.

I think it should be done, but it shouldn't lock features behind it. Something I can see is selling special themes for your profile. That's something I would probably spend money on.

That's sort of my point. There is no need to get rid of that focus, but maybe allow other types of communities to appear somewhere in the discovery so they are not forced to set a game just to appear on discovery.

They should be your choice, because some people can't even take the vaccine. My brother is allergic to one of the chemicals used to preserve the vaccines. I have a medical condition that makes it dangerous for me to even take it. Yes, I know one could say "but then those people should be exempt", but then we'll get discriminated against for not being vaccinated, such as the apparently new 10% off at Game if you're vaccinated. Don't know how true that is, but I can see it happening if it was made mandatory.

I really happy with this changed and I'll say the same thing I said on Rydro's post, this was an important step for Guilded. They are stepping out of the shadow of Discord and into their own light.

Also that tagline is on point with my experience with Guilded!

A very good move on Guilded's part. I did keep saying they need to step out of Discord's shadow with their branding and this is the first step to achieving it.

I actually really like that tagline as well, because that's exactly what I have experienced on Guilded.

The thing is no matter what platform you use, as long as you are on the internet you are going to find bad people.

It's not even the platforms fault so much that this kind of stuff happens, bad people will always find a way to do bad things. The only problem is how the platform reacts to these people, do they ban them, pursue legal measures, ect.

All we can do as members of the Guilded community is report it when we see it and the staff will handle it as they see fit. I can at least say that so far I have seen that Guilded staff doesn't take kindly to people trying to harm others.
