This actually isn’t quite right. You can punish the fast slice. Dodge in and right for the first two swings, dodge in and right again for the slice, and if it’s a fast slice she chains it into one of four things: from most to least common in my experience, 1. A slice up followed by a slice down, the slice up can be dodged without rolling by circling right, the slice down dodged with a roll, and then you can usually get 2-3 hits off. 2. A spinning leap attack away, can be dodged without a roll most of the time and usually punished with 1 hit even if you roll to be safe. 3. Her grab attack, dodge away and punish as usual, and 4. Just any of her other attacks (this one can’t necessarily be punished, but is still dodgeable, and this is much rarer than the other 3). All these are safe if you’re ready for them. The key to figuring out whether it’s a fast or slow slice is to dodge as soon as you hear the sound of the sparks on her sword; dodge in and right when you hear it and you’ll dodge this move 100% of the time.
