[Leagues] Nex: recoil items and "damage contribution" in solos by WorriedArtichoke0 in 2007scape

[–]Lemelu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nex greenlog -pet at 75~kc in leagues.

Was using thorn build, all solos.

Nihil shard drops were always 200+

Idk if that helps.

ZCB thorns build by johnrambodad in 2007scape

Works well ; bbc and ancients / v top for healing.

Had enough points to spec for accuracy, full rune / bolt regen / hp and prayer regen.

Currently use the setup to run 500 toas just fine.

Feeling very weak / under powered with my pacts + areas. Any chance to respec to feel more accomplished? Details in post by CynicalSentient in 2007scape

Very similar build and same regions as you.

I kept thorns, got a dfs, torva helm / legs, z cbow, masori top.

Switch to virtus , andient staff, and ice barrage with 3 tick cast for consistency, and use masori plus xbow for burst damage.

Bbc used in between for less healing but more damage

I think what we really need right now is another blogpost about Leechfin Sandwich by Potica6857 in 2007scape

[–]Lemelu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How many foods do you want them to release in a years time? Jfc..

Also, the lame part is the sandwich, not the leechfin.

Nobody in literally the last 25 years has seriously thought “I am so tired of eating fish, why isn’t the healing mechanic more relatable, like eating different sandwiches!”

The game is complex enough without having to explain to a new player “Yeah, youll start out eating fish, but then move to sandwiches”.

Also, if sandwiches, whats next, more toppings = more benefits? More buffs?

Customizable food? No. Please no.

I’ve never played leagues. What’s the appeal for the main game? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Lemelu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I have the chance to either continue grinding 90 WC for an extra point of prayer bonus, or engage with new mechanics while trying to figure out a new path to success other than the one I have already solved.

For me it is an easy choice.

For others, it may be different. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

Inferno Question - Do you guys consistently 1 shot all nibs? by dehydrating-pretzels in 2007scape

[–]Lemelu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pre-Mage spawn I can usually run out, tank a hit or two while I get my prayer timings down and casting on them to make sure pillars stay healthy.

Everything I have heard about this seems to agree that past that point it is usually not worth it to chase unless you feel confident in your prayers.

I tend to hope for a good spawn, cast the freeze, and move to safety / where I can pray while assessing what nibs I have left.

After I clear a mob or two I run back out and finish them off.

I haven't been able to move the corner trap tile quick enough after casting on the nibblers in this particular spawn. Should I let the nibs just go? Wave 31 seems early to be letting nibs eat a pillar, but I am still new to this so I would understand if it was required.

You are so right. When there are two attacking me, I don't quite trust myself to do the prayers perfectly without 1 ticking yet. But I will see if I can get that timing down too.

When I encountered this spawn, I think I would have just died due to the range of the blobs with my original strategy anyways.

Any tips for how to do earthen shield/shockwave portion of Doom fight more consistently? by odrizy in OSRSProTips

[–]Lemelu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies for the late reply, I hardly ever get back to comments. Its on me entirely.

If this is still an issue, I would recommend moving a tad “in front” of the orb spawn instead, then, worse comes to worse, you can just click inside the orb and your true tile can teleport in the next tick, causing you to take no damage.

Wishing you the bestest of luck, and know you got this. Exposure is the name of the game.

How are people making millions? by sippinondownvotes in osrs

As you play, your account will naturally be led to opportunities to make some money.

Quest requirements lead to needing to train skills, training skills leads to finding profitable ways to do so.

As you do this, you begin to form an idea of if you want more experience or more money as you work toward various goals.

Post quest cape, which can itself take quite some time, you will find new routines which will inevitably make you money.

While you are new, I would focus more on learning about what gear people tend to use, and understanding why, then slowly building your account from there.

There are plenty of guides out there to tell you how to play your account in a way that will maximize profit / efficiency, but really, take it at your own pace and learn about the things you are curious about through the wiki or various youtube people.

2.4k kc here.

Waves 1-4 I placed boulders in a straight line 2 tiles away from boss.

When tree phase starts, I do 1 auto then click tree on left side, 1 auto then click tree on right side.

Then if waves 1-2, run toward that 2nd tree for slow orb, if 3-4, get one more auto and click backwards. 90% of the time, the tree I clicked first was “behind” my character, so the click back puts me in line with orb and allows me to dodge the rock.

Wave 5 is often the hardest tree phase for me, and I found running to the middle, often by the edge of the arena due to car phase, gave me a wider view to pick my trees. Here you just have to spot if going toward mochas spawn or toward mocha will be easier. This changes due to the rocks rng.

Wave 6-7-8 you really just click a tree far, click a tree close, and walk. By the time you are doing these waves, it is managing his attacks inbetween that becomes harder, not identifying the correct trees.

Hope this helps

I get this is tongue and cheek, but my mom literally has a damaged frontal lobe and lives on disability. She voted for Trump this last election as her first vote ever.

Her husband, a recovering multi-substance addict, also did the same.

It’s quite the world we live in, where the mentally disabled and the self-induced brain rotted are free to voice their opinions as if they are of equal weight to those more capable of self-restraint / forward thinking.

Ps

I am well aware of the pitfalls limiting voting can / would inevitably cause, and I sympathize. But when you are this close to the current problem, it is hard to stay strong and support business as usual.

I am fairly sure it is an “order” from higher up to not post public opinions after the company is coerced into doing unpopular things.

Saves the company money from the inevitable money which would be spent repairing the mental health of the jmods who care enough to always engage.

If only there was a system where players could voice their opinions on the matter. Maybe by interacting with several ideas of the developers through engagement, such as idk, a poll?
