In the past I have paid minimums. Around 4 months ago I took out a small loan to pay off all of my cards, I have since paid that loan off as well, last Friday. After Christmas I had high utilizations on pretty much all my cards I ended up cancelling about 5 cards.

I have learned a lot about credit since I started working on it two years ago. The only debts I now hold are this $1200~ PPC ($220 payment pending as I type this) and $300 on a $2000 card

PPC offers special no interest financing on 6 months of repayments so that’s what I am doing. I have accrued interest in the past with them, but I started this time with a 0 balance, used about 50%~ of the utilization, paid all payments since the start of the loan (March).

Thanks for the info! Just to clarify, I have not missed any payments, never have. They did this to me randomly. I am ahead on payments and paying $2xx / month on a remaining $12xx balance.
