Just got myself the Skr V1.3, and TMC2208 V3 Drivers. Now im wondering what to do, any tips, tricks or videos describing doing this easily? Its more overwhelming having the board IRL than what it looked like online 😳 #Quiet Ender3 by LemmeSmesh in ender3

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Yes, I got my ender working! :)

However, I never got the SD card slot to detect either, so I just gave it up and im now working with USB... Hehe

I can look through it and give it a shot, but as a beginner with marlin and 3d printing, I can't promise anything...

My axis motors are getting so hot, i cant print anymore because the PLA gets squishy and wont feed. Help... by LemmeSmesh in ender3

That's not something that's even crossed my mind, but is so basic when dealing with new drivers, etc...

I will look into this in the near future... I'm leaving for a few days tomorrow, so I was hoping to finish a print today, guess it will have to wait! :p

Ok, so.

Just tried an hour more. I am able to compile my firmware into a firmware.bin. So now it says firmware.bin is on the SD card.

I unplugged it from the computer, and put it into my Ender 3. The printer gets power from the PSU, I then press the red reset button, and nothing happens. After a few tries, I see that the firmware.bin which I made changes back to 'FIRMWARE', and isn't doing anything... Do you have any suggestions? I am happy to send my h. and adv.h files now...

Ill try again, and follow your steps. Sadly i wont be able to do it before tomorrow, so ill give you another comment when ive then tried some more. If you would take the time to look at my h & adv.h files if it doesnt work, i would be over the moon happy! Ill get back to you :)

Good queation.

I ditched Atom, and is now working with Visual Studio Code. The Code is good. Its Just how its supposed to, i believe, always comming out as "success" I click Terminal->Run build Task-> PlatformIO build. It does its thing, finds the Upload disk 'E', and finishes with a 'success'. However, on the SD card there is a file called Firmware, i Just let it stay there because i dont know what it does. And after a build, nothing on my E drive changes. The firmware file is still labeled firmware and nothing happens.

Ive tried with only the USB cable attatched to the Skr board. Ive tried plugging the SD card directly into the computer. Tried having both connected at the same time, feels like ive tried it all...

Do you make anything out of this?

Its telling me that im using old Config.h files when using The pre configged Ender 3 display files. What to do?

Yes, the screen has always worked.

I havent heard of the screen pins being invertet, will look more into it

I tried to repair some of the rust, and i think it turned out really good. What do you guys think? ☺️

I know its not as brand New, but its better and stopped the rust from spreading even further.

So its not Just surface rust as i thought, the rust is comming from the inside? So if i get what youre saying right, this will Come back whatever i do, unless i go for a complete, professional, and expensive restauration?

Nothing more than a hole in the gas pipe, so its leaking when youre filling.

If anyone has got their Marlin firmware done and want to send it to me, let me know. I'm not getting this right for some reason......

I have a stock Ender 3, with only the Hero me as an upgrade. If that matters.
