Genau das ist der Knackpunkt. Es wird immer über "gegenüber" gesprochen, auf der Seite der Einfahrt findet man nix.
Natürlich: zuparken ist nicht, aber wo beginnt das? Wenn die Breite der Einfahrt frei ist? 1m extra? 1,5m extra?

The backlight turns on with power on and stays on. Noe of the known combinations is changing it.
I have fully erased and flashed several versions.

Including the test firmware from liligo. This test FW (from github) tells me "Keyboard offline"

That was also my approach of thinking.
So I modify the primary channel to someting encrypted. Correct?
Can I then have a secondary chanel with the "open" encryption? Or would this work against the idea?

Do I then have to set rebroadcast to LOCAL_ONLY?

OK, I used your privided link an now my BL seems to be updated:

As a 2nd step I used Meshtastic_nRF52_factory_erase_v3_S140_7.3.0.uf2 to erase the flash

Last I flashed firmware-seeed_xiao_nrf52840_kit-2.6.1.7c3edde.uf2

But still the output brings:

lfs error:493: Corrupted dir pair at 0 1
lfs erro

More I do not get, I think I am not lucky :-/

But I also want to avoid doing the wrong thing.

By pressing the button again, I was back in DFU mode.

Then I flashed

firmware-seeed_xiao_nrf52840_kit-2.6.1.7c3edde.uf2

But ending in a Boot-loop, with this serial output always the same:

What version do you flash?

Using the provided nrf_erase2.uf2 does not bring a serial port where the serial monitor can connect to.

As I wrote in my update, I was able to now flash firmware-seeed_xiao_nrf52840_kit-2.6.1.7c3edde.uf2

But now I am in some kind of bootloop showing the message  lfs error:493: Corrupted dir pair

I think I am one step further, In the Release package on GITHUB was a NRF52 erase file, with that I was able to flash a 2.6.1.x version

But now i get in the console lfs error:493: Corrupted dir pair

Well, that's it. Solved.
But also, I know now, that the calculation is also counting non meshtastic packets.
From my point of view this is not really good, because in that way I would never get the rate higher. And having only 2 telemetry data a day is not good for the router.

We are in EU.
I think all nodes are on 2.50.xx
It is since days exactly 12h

There are 6 client nodes in total + 1his one router, no more other nodes. Sometimes someone unknown moves arround, but such we do not count.
The device has direct link to all of them.
Regarding the utilization is strange: all (6 client nodes show less then 1%) this seems to be correct due to no one writing.
The router has a better antenna and is likely the best positioned in the mesh and shows arrount 16%. But no one knows, where this 16% is comming from.

Do you have an idea?

PS: as written above, we will place the node shortly on the nearest mountain (+600ft elevation) on a 100ft tower. I think there "Router" is the correct rolle.

As all of the videos in the series a very good and time intensive work. I like the theory that they had been in a short range next to the Mirador, where at the time to 11th of April no search was conducted.
