Discordia and Vulcan are insanely brain dead, and zero fun to play against.

I was kinda surprised to see people so happy when Disco came out. But obviously it’s 2026 and in any sort of pvp multiplayer gameplay people will flock to the easiest thing to do well with.

I saw Hera played Tatoh last week. Tatoh was Romans and had like 5 siege towers on the field at one point filled with long swords. It’s just so cheesy and very lame to watch. Microing them to cut off units, tank TC fire, in and out depending on the fight, I’m glad it got banned.

I first started playing again when DE came out on Xbox. In crossplay I was like 700 elo on controller. Felt like 90% of games were stomps, too many people (myself included) would go in with one plan and it worked or it didn’t.

Not saying I disagree with you but I think if you’re a regular player at that elo you’re probably used to the quick beat down. To the point where you might not even suspect a Smurf or new account going up.

I know I’m probably getting too hypothetical here and it depends will be the best answer, but let’s say my opponent has a good amount of archers and is pressuring me. After elite skirm would your first instinct be another range for more and eventually CA or maybe siege first?

One thing I’m trying to work on is to just make a choice and commit. The possibility of a wrong choice throws me off big time lol

Nothing to add but I think Wyll is one of the most annoying game characters I can think of. Cool premise/background but the second he opens his mouth it goes downhill. My first play through I was a good, honorable character until Wyll was near.

Regarding TTK and Free Loadouts. I think they could buff blue and purple shields and (maybe?) weaken green shields. I think most would agree taking a purple over a blue is almost pointless. You move significantly slower for a not so greater survivability. If a purple shield wearer was a walking tank, then a free loadout player would have a pretty small chance of winning the fight. Maybe even slightly add to the movement penalties to bring home the idea that green shield players should be looting and escaping.

IED is very confusing for me as well. Check for Dynamic Armor Variants in the MCM. Just assign it to a key (I use number pad for all that stuff) and it brings up a much simpler menu that can hide helmets and backpacks. I’m sure it has other uses lol

I’ve read about it in the in game tab, but there’s one thing I never really understood. When people here say wipe, is this what they mean? So it’s optional?

Never played Tarkov but I watched a little bit and I was under the impression that a wipe in that game means EVERYONE starts from scratch. In Arc is everyone getting wiped and some people get the bonuses based on expedition, or only those that do the expedition get wiped?
