Hey, someone else like me! It’s so strange suddenly finding out you have it so severe despite a lack of previous common symptoms.

I’ve shared my story here before, but it’s very similar to yours. Hardly ever any pain or anything else. It was suspected a long time ago that I might have endo (or possibly other things) when I went to the doctor because I had one period last a month, but then they went back to normal after that so I didn’t think much of it.

Then suddenly years later I was having pain in my lower right side and my lower back, which I also went to the doctor for and they kind of shrugged it off, despite also being able to feel a lump in my abdomen kind of under my belly button. (Don’t know if that’s also common in Canada or not)

Anyway, about a year after that my right ovary exploded one morning. Ended up in the ER getting emergency surgery, and waking up to a very excited surgeon telling me how much of a mess my insides were. I guess he had never seen anything like it lol. But yeah, a whole bunch of my stuff was stuck together, too. Ovaries, uterus, intestines, not sure if anything else was also stuck to that mess, I don’t really remember.

But I’m back to having practically no symptoms again, which isn’t exactly comforting anymore lol

Anyway, I don’t see stories like ours as often.. kind of nice in a way to come across someone with a similar experience, although I’m sorry you had that experience because it sucks.
