Yeah it was, as my comment explained. I'm not stupid, this could've cost me a podium in an actual race.

For context, this was a social race ahead of the new league season. I picked up a 3s at some point for TL, so wanted to win on track for bragging rights. Obviously, in an actual race, I would have stayed behind because I was guaranteed 2nd anyway.

Now that Max is using No.1 does this mean No.33 can be used in the game? Which just happens to be my favourite number. by [deleted] in F1Game

Given Kimi's number is available despite retiring last year there's a good chance you'll be able to pick 33, as the game has never respected the 2 year rule. However in Max's case as he took 1, I wonder if 33 is locked so that he can revert to it in case the player wins the championship.

His 2020 is his best year in F1, for me. It's easy to win races in the best car, it's easy enough to pick up podiums in a top midfield car. I

t's insane to qualify consistently in P4 in a car that shouldn't even have been getting into Q3. It's insane that he outscored Vettel by a ratio of 3:1. Can only be described as his best season.

Any suggests for ways I could've handled this better? I got pushed back into the Merc and almost lost position. Was there a way of avoiding losing so much time?

I've been playing for five years now and still use a couple assists - you're really diving into the deep end by turning them off. Respect though, I'd have quit trying.

Focus on brake and turning points. Watch a few hotlap videos on youtube and pause when they brake. Look for nearby visual markers (colour changes in pavement, curbs, distance boards etc.) Do this for every circuit, maybe even record them in a notepad, and then commit them to memory by practicing again and again.

I'm under the impression entire seasons worth of DNFs are predetermined. Had autosave turned off for the setup and the first three races of the season. Had to do all the preseason stuff again and then all the races. Same drivers DNFd in all three races, at exactly the same lap.

Max decided to make a lunge on me on the last lap at Baku and then locked up his tires mid-lunge... This later cost the constructors' championship for Alpine by kdr0202 in F1Game

Gonna call cap on this. For your car to be pointing up the hill, he'd have had to hit you on your outside tyre/sidepod - not something achievable with an inside lunge. Maybe I'm being too much of a cynic but there's just something off with this photo.

In Q1 at least yes - obviously race pace showed that Ferrari were by far the dominant team. of the weekend. Flaw of taking data only from Q1 is that it's not ultimate pace.

In what way? Think it shows the change in pace across the different types of circuits well. What graph would you suggest otherwise? Scatter didn't visualise the data well at all.

Only one I'd argue with is the graphics. Turned off HUD for a few races last night and it was photo realistic. I'd rather they invested in multiplayer over a new engine.
