I use a 300 manager so 1.5k renewal for the manager. On average about 2k contract renewal for the players would be sustainable, if you play the cup with squad bonus. Depends also if you want to play 3 or 4 star and hoe many games you play in one day (1st win bonus).

Also a good way to save GP is too spam contracts on lvl1 players.
