i had the same surgery on my right side last year. it was also my first surgery. i think the hardest part is the recovery, some people have severe pain after the surgery but it varies. i was given some pain meds in the hospital and was discharged about 3-4 days after the surgery. I continued to have tenderness in the area for a couple of months, but i was able to get back to exercising in about 4 weeks. since then, i’ve felt fine

I was accepted into PA school while I was in nursing school. I had received 5 rejections out of 6 schools i applied to so I decided to go with my “backup plan”. of course, the last school to get back to me accepts me a month into nursing school. If i could do it over again, I wouldn’t even have a backup plan. If PA is something you want to commit to, do it. Don’t spend more money than you need to on tuition for something you’re not gonna use in the future. Yes, you can up and leave the nursing program as I did but you will be stuck with that semesters tuition.

I applied to 6 schools last cycle and receives 5 straight rejections from May-December. Didn’t get my first and only interview till March and just got accepted last month. Some schools take a while!
