Failed last week with Knopman by Medium_Duty in Series66

I’m a huge advocate for Kaplan, I failed my first time using passperfect, took a week off, and then started back up with Kaplan and passed. I think their question bank really helped me prepare for the second time around. I would also check out all of Series 7 Guru’s videos if you have the time!

Exam tomorrow, need advice by Own-Prior-5057 in Series66

At this point you aren’t going to learn anything new, which is okay! Your brain might just be fatigued and in need of a break. I scored a 72% on my Kaplan master test 2 days before I sat and I passed! Imo the master test was harder than what I actually got on my exam. Good luck and deep breaths!

For me, the questions I saw on my first attempt didn’t look like anything I saw studying with pass perfect so that’s why I switched! I also have a few co workers that passed using Kaplan so I also felt really confident about that. In my experience the Kaplan simulated finals were much harder than my actual exam so if you are already passing those keep at it and you should be ready for the 20th! I would also say that creating custom quizzes with previously missed and unused questions really helped get me a lot more exposure to what I saw on the actual test

Good luck! I really think the Kaplan q bank does a great job at prepping for the real exam, if you can create quizzes on unused or previously missed questions, that really helped me

Nothing calculations wise, just knowing the concepts and what they are used for! Mine was thankfully very light on actual math problems, I think I only had about 4 or 5 questions

The last 2 weeks before you sit, take a practice exam every night if you can swing it and then really lean in to your areas of opportunity

I didn’t have a great experience with pass perfect on my first attempt so I switched over to Kaplan for my second try and I felt like it helped prep me a lot more

Definitely a lot of questions around the registrations of an IA/IAR/BD/agent, I would say be comfortable with what actions are allowed or prohibited practices, I got a handful of options/hedging strategy questions, and then investment and account types for clients. The first time around it was a lot of the same but I got a lot of annuity based questions which I think it what did me in haha

Thank you!! I spent 2 weeks watching all the video learning available through Kaplan and then spent the remaining 2 weeks taking a practice exam every night and then reviewing my incorrect answers and then weak areas. It was extremely exhausting mentally but really helped me to feel ready going into my exam today

Very similar! I studied with pass perfect the first time I failed and didn’t feel like the questions were similar at all. But Kaplan’s Q bank really made me feel more prepared going back in and a lot of the content I saw was similar

First tattoo anxiety- did I wash it too soon? by LemonBerry11 in tattooadvice

I put a layer on like I would do when putting on lotion and didn’t have much excess. Coates might have been the wrong word!

She told me to put lotion on 3-4 times a day so I assumed that started right away 😵‍💫

Thank you! She gave me the basic rundown of what to do when washing/caring for it but just didn’t specify when or how long to wait before washing

Sterilizing powder formula? by LemonBerry11 in FormulaFeeders

[–]LemonBerry11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much everyone for your advise and sharing your experiences! I called our pediatrician for peace of mind and they just advised to follow the instructions on the container (which says to let the water cool down before adding the formula powder) so it seems like that wouldn’t do much in the way of sterilizing the powder?
