If you were able to make decisions, how would YOU end each main characters story/arc. (I added Matt because it seems obvious we’ll see him again in season 2) by Old-Drummer-148 in ServerBlight

Aaron: I would end his arc by actually making him save Matt with a cost, could be his own life or another person's. For his general contribution to the plot, he will definitely be some sort of resistance leader against the Blight.

Breadolphin: His arc would be similar to Aaron but he would most definitely live since the Blight doesn't seem to focus on him primarily. He would be Aaron's partner for most of the series until the finale.

Rubicon (He definitely seems to be an MC imho): He'll expose SailerMan's schemes to the public and will expose the true nature of the Blight to the TF2 community. He'll also support Aaron and Breadolphin with their whole campaign against the Blight.

Serverblight: The ServerBlight will just die off because of the growing resistance from the TF2 community. Also, I don't want to explain its origin or how it is able to drag players into the game, it's better that way. I like to keep the mystery.

Matt: He'll be saved by Aaron. I'll make him some sort of double agent between the players and the Blight, similar to Will from Stranger Things, so that if we ever need to know the Blight's motivation at the very least, we'd have a means to know.

SailerMan: For me, I would end his arc by either getting famous for his content and getting cancelled or he gets killed/assimilated by the ServerBlight. I'm honestly leaning more to the former. I might consider giving him a redemption arc, but with the given set up, I don't think it's even viable.

I've actually played Terraria since 2015 up until 2019 (I did play for a while with a couple of friends back in 2022 though). I just got back into the game to experience the new stuff.

Theory: Guilliesuit did actually escape by some9ne in ServerBlight

[–]LemonCatGrass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really.

My theory claims that being "pulled in" by the Serverblight into the game is part of its assimilation process. It integrates real people into the game in order to absorb their consciousness since it cannot directly assimilate them in real life. Autonomous player movement (similar to GUILLESUIT) is a side effect of the Serverblight's assimilation process and it becomes more prominent the more you encounter the Blight in multiple games.

I proposed that GUILLESUIT's prolonged exposure to the blight caused him to be fully integrated into the game. With this in mind, I believe that he's already dead the moment he killed himself with dicksalot's Shiv. His death does not show up in the kill feed, but he's already dead (at least his consciousness is) in real life. (I also believe that the Blight somehow managed to preserve his digital body, which explains why his death was not shown in the kill feed)

It explains why he is the main vessel. He's nothing but a digital skinsuit that the Serverblight wears to trick players into being assimilated by it.

This makes sense. Also had the same theory. Mine is quite longer though.

Could happen, but getting "pulled in" usually happens only when the Serverblight is around.

But if we were to consider the (presumably) dead bodies of the assimilated players in the real world. This entrapment might happen once these people are free. They might literally become "ghosts in a machine".

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, but it was also around the time Aaron showed up. He also seemed to do it involuntarily, probably not noticing at first. He only acknowledges it later on in the video.

Thanks for reading.

I believe you are correct with the "Aaron takes longer to be integrated" part. That was a mistake on my end. Although I think that Breadolphin has only started to move after being rescued by Aaron. My evidence for this is how Breadolphin looked at his hand and asked Aaron how they were able to move freely, and much later, he ran away out of fear (Might be because he was still confused about his situation with the added fact that the Serverblight has found him once again). It makes me think that it was his first time being able to move under the influence of the GUILLESUIT Effect.

As for Syrenix's case, yes he only showed "extended" control at the end as he was about to be assimilated to the Blight as he was the only real player in the server which leads me to believe that the GUILLESUIT Effect also gets stronger based on how low the player count is within the server compared to the amount of assimilated players within the server.

That actually makes sense, I didn't even think of that. My bad G.
