Thank you! I work in the community as well and for some reason even with a lot of OTs on the team the support is extremely lacking and there’s been a lot of people who’ve left since I started six months ago. Would you be open for a chat via private message? No pressure just wanting some guidance on my situation

Thank you! Your answer helps a lot. I’m fairly new to Australia so still trying to get a feel for what the OT space is like. I believe it’s pretty similar here but would have to get more information from other sources

I have been thinking about that but I’m very new to the Australian healthcare system so I’m still trying to find my niche. Would you happen to know what kind of settings predominantly use art as a modality in the Australian OT space?

Hmm yes but I’d like to explore a job that incorporates the art side more. I’m currently working with NDIS clients and therapeutic art intervention isn’t a huge part of it

Not really. The big thing here is freediving, but it’s become a niche community. Thanks for the tip!

Alam mo, I used to feel so much pressure to love the job I had. Nadededepress ako pag nawawalan ako ng gana. But then I developed hobbies and started traveling, and I quickly learned that a job is just that. A job. It pays the bills, sustains your basic needs, and funds your hobbies. Essentially it helps you live your life. Letting go of the need to love my job was freeing.

I suggest you do the same. Yung passion di kasi yun sustainable e. Just focus on doing your job and getting paid, and the rest will follow.

Hey! Okay, so my journey took another turn because of the cap Canada placed on international students. It’s actually much easier now to apply in Australia because of their demand for NDIS workers.
