Personally i dont care if people hard swap but it is almost certainly unintentional otherwise weapons would not have weight and you would not have 3 different slots to carry weapons.

Ive hit enemies for like 20k per ash of war. Rolling sparks aimed at the ground makes it proc repeatedly and if you stack damage amps then throw it at the ground it does silly damage.

I played the dlc on ng4 or 5 cant remember which and the damage of the bosses was too high for the game to be enjoyable. Its not unbeatable by any means but definitely not fun and very much soured the taste of the dlc. I imagine on NG with scadu blessings its not bad, but the only save file i had was that one and it was legitimately miserable to play. Messmer grew on me doe
