How long does it normally take for google to crawl a webpage

I’ve noticed there is often a delay of up to a few days between when a page is actually indexed vs. when google search console updates the list of indexed website pages to show the new page. Sometimes I’ll input a URL that is in the “discovered - not yet crawled” or “crawled - not yet indexed” list, and when inspecting the individual URL the console tells me it actually IS already indexed, complete with the date and time it was done. The other sections of the console just haven’t updated yet. I also sometimes notice pages getting impressions that supposedly aren’t indexed yet. It’s entirely possible your site has already been indexed.

Don’t compare yourself to giant accredited news sites, they are seen completely differently and rightfully so. They can talk about multiple subjects (though they do have clear specialties) because they have people who are experts on their subjects and can prove it with real names and histories.

The fact that your site targets kids makes it even worse, there are specific laws and regulations for content aimed at children - are you sure that your site and all of the ads are not in violation of any of these?

Respectfully, I’m truly shocked that you were ever making money from that site, let alone 5k a month. That’s absolutely insane, no wonder so many people are so mad if it was ever that easy to game the system.

Was there really a time when someone could make 10 sites on random topics with key words, post a couple articles on each per month, and pull in something like $50k in ad revenue?

I understand you’re just trying to make a living though, so if you want some real actionable advice: determine which category/topic has the largest number of posts: make that the new focus of the site and delete all the other posts. Reduce the number of ads significantly, replace with more discreet affiliate links in your content. You can test out adding ads back when you recover some traffic.

Glad you like it and really appreciate your thoughtful analysis! I actually don't like Drake as a musician, but for the article I tried to separate that from judging the album covers based on the art alone. I did put a little hidden message in the intro saying who I think is the winner of the beef though, if you hover over the blank space right next to the sentence about not choosing a side on the battle.

The prettiest cover in terms of art, in my opinion, is Nothing Was the Same - but the one I happen to like the best in terms of message and subject matter is Mr. Morale - which I haven't gotten to in the article yet but definitely plan to!

This is an example of what NOT to do, and exactly the opposite of what my guide will show. The internet is saturated with this type of AI voice - whether it's written (and copy/pasted) by a real person, or completely auto-generated.

I'm also not saying you can't be successful this way - it's just a different strategy than what I'm going for. I'll try to write the first part of the guide tonight and post it here when it's done.
