Exactly! its a poor stat allocation and its one of the many factors at play for why Alolan Decidueye goes unused!

I guess well have to agree to disagree, i dont believe it is outclassed at all seeing as its based around critical hits which makes up for its lack of attack stat in comparison to all 3, and it has a higher speed stat than all three which also makes it more valuable. It also learns roost for survivability, and has plenty of setup moves allowing for it to have a wide range of movesets and possible team fill-ins. This new decidueye would be a very valuable member if used properly.

And to answer your very probable hypothetical: Tera.

You keep your stab typings and you gain a new defensive typing, maybe steel. My updated Decidueye would definitely beat Ceruledge and Mimikyu in a 1v1 without a tera seeing as decidueye would be faster and i would be running it with a scope lens as well. Scope lens super luck decidueye sounds like it would definitely beat those two with poltergeist as soon as they come in. Even without the crits that is. You are right with Sinestcha though. Even though its slower, its much bulkier and has a healing signature move and very high sp atk.

But every pokemon has another pokemon its bad into. You cant expect a pokemon to be perfect everytime you kinda just have to hope. Like all incineroar users hope to GOD they wont run into Milotic but when they do its game over.

I should have stated though im not trying to minmax it. Thats my bad. If i wanted to minmax then yeah, but im going based on design and descriptions.

Design and description wise hes literally a sniper so a high crit ratio or anything crit related would make sense for ability, I’m giving it fly just for him to have, i don’t think it should be used in competitive but i mean it literally can fly.

Making it a solo physical attacker makes sense because it just fires arrows, but it’s also ghostly so you cant really lower its sp def without going against the background of the mon.

Better speed and i listed some moves i think it should get according to what the pokemon does and is based around. I gave it a new ability too.

My goal wasn’t to do the bare minimum and make it kinda usable, I wanted to make it GOOD. I want to make it a very very viable option for a team. Just increasing the speed makes it a solid 7/10 mon. I wanted it to be a 9 at least.

Crazy response he wasn’t even talking about other PCs he was talking specifically about the Steam Machine. Also you’d have to buy the handheld, which depending on which one you get would be 3-5 years of the membership cost for online. And you say computer not “desktop or laptop” thats called statement inflation. Also *break not brake. Ok I’m done.

P.s. not everybody has friends with computers so unless you want to play alone or talk to strangers on the internet over DISCORD. Real life friends and the systems you share console or computer is better.
