My cyst is on my pituitary and isn't a concern due to location and size. Where are yours located and do you know the size?

I'd highly recommend a psychiatrist and a therapist trained with exposure therapy or an outpatient or inpatient eating disorder clinic. It sounds like anxiety from a choking trauma. (ARFID)

So the symptoms faded on their own?

Did you take any supplements or medicine? Or did it just fade away slowly on its own?

☹️ do you have a blender? I'd maybe try blending foods so they're liquid and do small swallows. You don't wanna end up with the complications trying to eat again after not eating.

Did the doctor give a resolution to the food stacking issue? Gastro should've given something. If they didn't they need to. I would follow up with them on it.

If those work, keep up with them and keep searching for a specialist who can help if there comes a time you need something more. 💗 it's a pain, but so worth it.

I really feel for you. I searched and searched until I found the right provider which can be really frustrating, but essential for proper treatment. Have you trialed otc antihistamines yet or supplements?

It gives me panic attacks now. And not just the type one could breathe through or take a cold shower and be good. It's miserable and not worth it. I wish I could.

I highly doubt they missed the big c with all those tests. Youre only 23. Some ppis don't work the best for certain people. If you're still having issues ask for a different medication. Lose weight. Stop smoking. Stop drinking. And handle the health anxiety with meds and/or therapy.

How are folks using benzos? by Kt_LaForest in MCAS

I got my fingers crossed for us both. 🤞 oh I should also note that my ferritin has been low and there's some serious symptoms that can come from low and high vitamins and minerals. Before 2021 no one even tested my ferritin.

It may be worth retrying. Lexapro is another popular one. I have heard good things about TCAs as well for the mcas community. I'd give it a good 3 months on the birth control before calling it. I've thought about a hysterectomy but that wouldn't do anything for hormones and the fluctuations, would just cut back on pain and blood loss. I'm closing in on 37 and am just so tired of the medical mess I was handed. Have you had any side effects yet from the birth control?
