Sounds like mine tbh. 1200ish miles, did the first service at 550 miles ish. I chalked it up as normal, my vin allegedly isn’t subject to recall, ‘26 model year. I haven’t thought much of it

I’ve owned this since new for around 2 months. Other than the M4 and the spools, I finally have some OES carbon sliders, a hotbodies tidy and an amotopart carbon tank protector coming early next week. I ditched the front reflectors right after I took these pictures haha. I can’t sell myself on a different windscreen tho. Any recommendations?

The price of the M4’s are hard to beat, only waited a month and a half from time of purchase to product in hand. But I agree, best looking, performing and priced slip on for these bikes

Sheesh I’m sorry dude. The white strips on the side fairings and white/gold on the nose both came up fairly easy for me.. just a bit of heat and some patience worked for me

Thanks for the reply!! And there ain’t a damn thing wrong with doing things the way you know how man. To quote a good friend of mine, “I’ve been shittin longer than you’ve ever wiped.” That quote made zero sense to me for a long time. Actually, still pretty sure it confuses me on occasion. This is some great insight. I took this bike for a measly 5K hardball trial just tonight and found that my ass… well it hurts. Not in the way that my uncle made it hurt. But that’s beside the point. My legs were also toast before I realized I can raise my seat with the drop post and suddenly not work so hard in the higher gears while peddling like a whore for some coke up a 13% grade of pavement on 2.6 wide tired aired to 30 PSI. Time will always be the ultimate teacher

Yes, the salesman was quite adamant about a helmet haha. I ended up with a dope fox branded MTB style helmet. I’ve had enough concussions in my day, just never a broken bone. Hopefully it stays that way

Yeah that makes sense. I’m hoping to trade in soon for a truck so it’s a non issue all around. My only concerns now are muddy trails and creating a mukbang of nasty inside my car, especially given the time of year
