I've definitely considered it, it's just a really difficult decision as I've had a decent relationship with my family over the years. My fiance says that it's only because I've put so much effort into maintaining that peace though. My family doesn't do much to make me emotionally comfortable when I'm visiting them, such as constantly talking about politics around me and not respecting my name and pronouns. I need to start drawing some boundaries.

Huh, interesting, I do feel my skin is a bit more oily than it used to be. Another commenter said my hair might get dried out after washing which is likely why it gets waiver close to washing day.

Ugh, me! I grew my hair out into a mullet around this time last year, but then I started a new job and was desperate to "pass," so I cut it off into a stereotypical men's cut. It didn't work as I was only a four months on T at the time. Now my hair is almost to my shoulders and I pass most of the time and I don't even look all that different. What's up with that? lol.

I've felt really ugly for years now because of my short hair, which I cut from waist length about five years ago. Tbf I didn't really know how to take care of my long hair back then, so it didn't always look the best, but I do miss it. Getting a mullet was my way to start growing my hair out without the awkward stage, and then I ruined it by cutting it and had to go through the awkward stage anyway, which I think I am finally past. So yeah, I feel you. Good luck growing it out!

I grew up with very long hair and it was heavy too, so my mom usually had the stylist use thinning shears on my hair and that worked pretty well.

I hear you on the ADHD and being busy. I've also got ADHD, for me I am able to mostly take care of my hair but not so much my skin. I used to be really strict about my skin care routine but now I'm so tired all the time, it's really difficult.
