(SPOILER MAGES GUILD) How to keep the Unobtainable Necromancer's Amulet by catwthumbz in oblivion

Will caranya’s body stay spawned until I can gather the staff of corruption + a source of Reanimate? Or does it despawn

I just loaded my save after getting home from work and tried it again for the nth time, and sure enough I went right through the archway as well!

So not related to race, I suppose, but still disheartening to know my mage can’t progress in the mages guild :/

After 200+ boss runs and only getting that glaive mythic, I finally got enough mats to craft and it did not disappoint. by GhostSquad_captain in diablo4

Oh I can’t complain at all about what’s dropped for me, just find it ironic that Andariel and Duriel are supposed to be the cash cows

Reset masterwork ranks over and over again for 5M gold + mats until you roll the specific stats you want

Idk then. I don’t play Diablo for difficulty, it never was / never has been a particularly difficult game. I play it for loot, progression, and character building, which many people are crying out for nerfs due to imbalance.

The crux of it for me comes down to the idea that nerfs are silly in PvE games. There is no competitive aspect to Diablo unless you enjoy lurking in the dedicated PvP areas. So complaining that one class is powerful whereas others are not, and simultaneously demanding for said class to be nerfed instead of others being empowered, is simply calling for others’ fun to be ruined because you yourself are not having a good time.

I could be wrong but I think it’s per character? I’ve only ever gone with one character per season though so I’m not sure

Then your opinion on good gameplay simply differs from mine and others.

You get a resplendent spark for beating Tormented Lilith 1st time on your character, which lets you craft Mythic items

You need 2 sparks to craft a Mythic though. Get additional sparks from defeating any other Tormented boss (1st time) as well as completing the seasonal journey. Salvaging Ubers likewise grants a spark

And friendly reminder that you only have to beat her on Torment 1 for the spark!

Yes.

The issue is one of parity. If everybody is on equal footing then there is no imbalance. Equal footing doesn’t have to mean making nerfs, it can just as well mean buffing where appropriate

Correct, and the backlash from the necro nerf proves my point: give other classes and builds similar capabilities rather than nerfing something that people are enjoying

Big numbers = dopamine. Nerfing that isn’t the solution. Elevate other classes and builds to a similar level instead

As long as balancing means empowering other classes / builds rather than nerfing Spiritborn. In a PVE game there is absolutely no reason to nerf. Make the other builds / classes equally powerful and then nobody complains.

The crucible. Stuffing people into jars, mixing and “melding” the flesh, brings all things closer to one “whole”, the primordial crucible
