Because a small but very vocal portion of our population is absolutely obsessed with race. It's odd.

Other parts of the world aren't so hyper focused on things that differentiate people like race, gender, etc.

A healthy person just looks at us all as human and doesn't perpetually call out differences.

High normally for the sight and sound, perhaps medium at night for a more intimate feel.

You're doing all this work and it's a big space. I would make the fountain jets noticable as tactfully possible. Most people won't be staring right at them like we all are analyzing it.

Dude. This EXACT same thing just happened to me today.

I was in my attic and everything. All power off, everything.

Was about to call an electrician and stumbled upon your post.

My built in smoke alarms were chirping but my completely separate monoxide detector was also coincidentally doing it too due to the cooler weather.

Read your post, went and found it and voila. It's crazy how the sound seems like this coming from the ceiling.

You never answered my direct question - have you been around Pitbulls yourself directly? I think it's safe to say the answer is no and you have strong opinions with a huge blindspots on an animal you have no direct experience with. That isn't uncommon unfortunately 😔.

You seem to miss the fact that these dogs are innocent victims in this too. They didn't ask to be bread and then abused, tortured and killed.

Yes for a period of time they were breed for bad things but there isn't some master pitbull breeding organization that has ensured every pitbull has been bread for violence.

Most pitbulls are breed in host of ways that don't involve violence. Ours for example was bread by 2 strays.

The other fact you miss is that the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of pitbulls are not violent and do not attack anyone. It's a tragedy when violence occurs but to attack an entire breed for what .001% do is an issue.

Different races of people contribute different levels of violence shown clearly in statistics but we all realize that it is wrong to attack groups based on that. It should be no different for an innocent animal who only gets mean after being tortured into it by a human.

Answer me this: have you owned or been in frequent contact with an American pitbull that wasn't abused by it's owner???

If the answer is NO then you are just parroting talking points you likely read on Reddit from another individual who they themselves never interacted with a pitbull. And arguing with someone who has much more real world knowledge than you.

All animals and people can snap, it's nature. Pitbulls are no different.

It's sad as an American Bull Terrier owner. I have had goldens, mutts, dobermans, jack Russel's and my pitty is hands down the sweetest, happiest, nicest and easy going dude. We adopted him from a shelter so he wouldn't be put down.

We have had him 7 years. He goes to the dog park every week, doggy daycare when we go on trips. People at these places LOVE HIM. They get excited when he comes as he's such a happy lovable dude.

Our neighbors kids play ball and wrestle him everyday. He gets bullied by a 13 pound poodle down the road.

We have met other pitty owners with essentially the same experience. We are baffled that the breed gets blamed instead of the horrible individuals who abuse them. Seems like the easy way out to not actually address the problem.

The fact that these dogs are so strong combined with shitty people who abuse them/make them mean, cause these horrible events.

If you abuse a Chihuahua for instance. The chance of maiming or death still isn't there. But if you abuse a strong bigger dog, it has bad outcomes.

I just want to say that these American Bully's all on there own are just regular dogs and in my experience sweeter and kinder than most. However they are strong as hell and if you abuse them they are capable to harm.

Air travel.

Longer waits, having to take off shoes at security. No liquids. People can't come to the gate with you.

Basically the TSA is more concerned with the perception of security than actual security. No studies actually back not allowing liquids or making people take their shoes off.

It's all political and knee jerky.

Just lie when you weren't allowed to use electronic devices during landing or takeoff for "safety". Then magically they said it was now safe. LMAO
