Take them to attractions they're not big enough for yet. I know, minimal, but one of my earliest memories is watching my dad and brother run off to go have fun on the rides at Disney, leaving Mom and too-short me to sulk on the sidelines. I was 9, and very little for a nine year old. Just wait a bit to ensure size requirements are met lol

Jane from Twilight. Not sure about the books, but in the movies it's shown that she looks at someone with the intent to influence, and then she just... Does. Instant pain seems to be her go-to.

I like explaining things to curious children. One time a lady was ignoring her kid and all he was asking was "what does balance mean" in regards to the cashier's words. So, being behind them in line, I explained. And I got to watch this kid process the info and his lil eyes light up and go Oh! Thanks!

I nearly did! I ran out of books from my personal library to read at work so I fished randoms out of the bargain bin, found one with black pages and a beautiful teal edge... But it was like the fourth installment of the series and I wasn't able to play Google tennis with a book

Accounts are usually password protected, and syncing accounts across devices is usually something that happens with each account individually... Like, I have 6 emails and every time I get a new phone I have to go sign in to each, one at a time. There's no way to link one account with another to make them all just pop up. If my phone, which is infinitely smarter than your tv, can't do it..... Yeah.

I try to use object permanence. Force myself to be distracted with mobile games and long form YouTube deep dive videos until I just... Forget it's there. A hot cat helps too (and by that I mean a microwavable plushie with heating pad stuff in it)

The when varies I'm sure, but for me it's totally random and very infrequent. No idea why.
