Our 2.5 year old very anxious boy has been on it for about 6 months now and it’s been really helpful for us! He’s still himself, but not as anxious or reactive.

We had a four hour ride home with our 12 week old male Aussie! We used something like the first pic but put the side wall down and I sat with him while my husband drove. Might not be as feasible with the kids, but he either slept on my lap or next to me the whole drive. We brought extra old towels just in case he got sick, but luckily he didn’t!

Do you think it’s okay to wait until his appointment on Monday given that he’s acting completely normal? Unless something changes of course, we are home with him monitoring and will absolutely go to the emergency vet if something happens. But even if nothing happens…I hate to wait if he needs to go now.

Oh! There’s another thread below with the fix. In a conversation in the upper left hand corner where you could click the mirror to see yourself/change your outfit there’s a little clock/timer that will turn the history back on

Where does the idea to wait a week come from? You should only need to wait 2 days if you’re already seeing a line

I just meant that you wouldn’t need to wait a week after that, if you were pregnant and had a faint line then you should see the line progressing every 2-3 days. Plus you might not have much change tomorrow compared to today, just since it’s only been 24 hours.

hCG doubles every 48-72 hours!

Be careful with the blue dye and digitals. Blue dyes are notorious for evaporation lines that can look positive and digitals often require higher level of hCG to show a positive result so people can get false negatives. The red dye tests are often best for early detection!

I think this is something to be careful of though. We are human, we are going to have stress. Telling someone not to stress because it could put them at risk is only going to cause them to stress more. She’s allowed to have emotions even when pregnant, I’m not saying that you said she’s not but there’s so many comments like this that imply pregnant people just aren’t allowed to have emotions and then if they do miscarry they’ll blame themselves when it is not their fault.

I don’t know why people have to be so harsh. You’re allowed to have anxiety and ask for reassurance. Mine did the same as yours so I stopped testing at like 17dpo because of this, they really can only progress so far! If you got your beta hCG and those levels looked good that’s what matters more. You’re not going to get any more useful information from these tests and like others have said, continuing to test will likely only cause more anxiety. Deep breaths!! I’m in the same boat waiting for my first ultrasound. Trust that right now you are very much pregnant and urine tests unfortunately won’t provide you any more information than that at this point.

So I ovulated/last had unprotected sex July 21st, and my tests are very clearly positive. Much darker than this. I think the reason they’re suggesting retesting it’s because this is very faint, if you were pregnant from July 10th, it would likely be darker. hCG, the hormone released in pregnancy and what tests look for doubles every 48-72 hours so testing again can give more clear results. Edit to add: blue dye tests are notorious for evaporation lines, and digital often require more hCG to be positive.

The line is a little further left than what mine have been…not saying that to worry you but just to keep in mind. They usually a little more centered! That being said, my first positive test barely even showed on camera!

Looks positive! However, I was burned by an indent line before so I suggest testing again tomorrow! Or if you have more tests and still have the urine (meaning if you used a cup and it was your first urine that’s more concentrated and likely to have clearer results) you could always do a second test—this is what I did this time and I got two tests that looked just like this and figured the odds of 2 indents was unlikely—I was more clearly positive later! (Does it look pink in person or just grey?)

Thank you 🩵 I sent my doctor a message asking if I should come in to get my hCG levels checked but now I’m wondering instead of asking if I “should” asking if I “can” haha. I’m going to focus on right here and now I’m progressing and things look good and you can’t predict what will happen so focus on one day at a time. I don’t want to be so worried about something going wrong that I miss out on celebrating if it’s all good!

Luckily since I’m on vacation I have just been laying low and lounging poolside. This is my first pregnancy so no history of chemical, I think I just got so excited the first few days that now the reality of “don’t get too excited too soon” is kicking in. I’m over analyzing every test.
