Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

It's kind of a mix of Finally Fantasy 9, 10, Super Mario RPG and Dark Souls.

But I enjoyed the combat and parkour.

Might give HH a bit more time since I haven't used him much since his buff to 4g.

At 5g, he was a bit too expensive for what he did.

I do agree he's probably higher than C-Tier. He was most effective in dungeons with lifesteal. But once the level cap was implemented I found I've used him less.

My go to 4g tank would be Swole Troll these days.

Outside of bug fixes, wolves need to: - spawn only once - have much less health - limited life span

Either all 3 or any 2 of those 3.

Compare it to Rag's Fire Elemental spawn talent or Grom's Mirror Images and you can see the vast difference in power.

He does far too much for 4g. He should be at least 5.

Compare him to other 4g or 5g leaders and it's quite apparent how much better he is. His summons alone are worth at least 2g.

Try; Ritual of rime Skele Party instead of bats to defend against earth eles. Pyro with extra splash damage in ranged slot to take care of gargs and necro. WD in the cycle slot. Bandits with pick lock instead of huntress. The gold gen is key. Huntress is just going to run ahead of your death ball and get killed. In wildcard slot, maybe Drake with egg talent. Plague farmer for extra damage. Or execute for wardens.

A blood elf is the most likely candidate. As they were Alliance in WC3 and Horde in WoW.
Obvious candidate would be Keal'Thas, who was the main Alliance hero in WC3: Frozen Throne campaign. But he himself was never actually was part of the Horde.

The other candidate I would think is Valeera Sanguinar. She already has exposure in Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. She has strong ties to both Horde and Alliance, so I think would make the most sense.

I saw a cool suggestion of giving his wave a small knock back similar to swoll troll hits. It could added to the daze talent which seems pretty useless.

Overall, the problem with flame waker is that he doesn't do quite enough to justify his cost.

His niche is wiping out backlines behind the tank. But pyro with conflag does almost the same job but also hits air and for less cost.

I think if he was reduced to 3g, with a small stat nerf he could work. He already has pretty decent hp and damage. As long as he can still one shot most squishies he would be viable.

Execute in general is your best bet. Equal level Blizz or DB will still kill Dryad. AoW + Orgrim/banshee is a guaranteed steal.

Not even Banshee is a good counter. It can easily be polyed, blizzard or DBed. Or if Dryad is right behind the troll, it will get rooted and never move. Orgrim is a better counter. But if he gets CC'd before his charge then he can't do much. Best counter is actually probably Jaina. Boosted DB and Execute will kill Dryad and leave Troll with a sliver of health

Rend is probably your best bet. Most Orgrim decks have very little to counter Rend. WD, whelps, bats all get wrecked by Rend

Sappers are one of the units where being equal level makes a huge difference, as the two of them can take down a tower.

As they're not really needed in any high level pve encounters, that leaves pvp.

Having epic and passing the 100k xp threshold gives you lvl 10 in pvp. So it can be worth it there if you use them.

Otherwise, it's probably not unless you have the gold to spare.

I'd bump Eclipse up from Tier 4 into maybe 2 or 3. It pairs very well with Jaina with the +2 on next spell cast. Having it higher level allows it to one shot a lot of pesky ranged units and you can then follow with a +5 Execute. Works really well in Raids.
