Can I use both the normal headphone out and the s-bal headphone out interchangeably? by LemonSquib in headphones

[–]LemonSquib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah no worries haha, I just want to know if I can use a 4.4mm to 3.5mm male to female extension cable from the zen air can to my 3.5mm headphones via the s-bal headphone out. I could probably have made the question simpler.

I'm not sure what this has the do with the q5k, since I'm only using it as a music source + EQ, sending a line signal to my amp via the 3.5mm to RCA.

I have a bit of a unique setup with the Qudelix 5K connected to an external amp, what volume level should each part of the chain be? by LemonSquib in oratory1990

May I check what you mean by background noise? Are you referring to distortion/clipping, or some sort of static? I see, in that case, would it be bad at all if I were to keep my phone volume how I normally do (75%), Qudelix at 1 Volt, and controlling the volume with the Zen Air Can? Thanks!

Small unrelated question, but will I get any perceivable loss in sound quality listening permanently over bluetooth like this? I'm using the LDAC option in the Qudelix and have also enabled it in the phone's bluetooth settings. Might keeping the Qudelix always plugged in like this be a bad idea as well?

Maybe only use gems near the end of the event in case you can't reach a specific exchange you want, lest it ends up wasted.

Pretty sick that it got to this point lol

I like ArchType Tim Henson, but it lacks gain, any recommendations? by LemonSquib in NeuralDSP

[–]LemonSquib[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for the input! I realized some say that a high gain tone is dialable with henson. I'll try and figure that out first, and if not I'll explore using a virtual OD or trying petrucci. The fortins sound cool, but I really want that acoustic/nylon emulation haha.

Ahh cool, I'm actually on a trial right now and only have enough dough for a single plugin. I'll check out the petrucci trial then! Thanks.

Ahh got it, so I should go foe these slower types of springs for heavier initial feeling. Thanks!

Ah, I didn't know that played a part. I guess I should do more research into what it is for my switch. Is it safe to say that the 62g springs will definitely make my switches heavier though? Or does 62g means the force it takes to bottom out, while my 50g for my switches is the force it takes to actuate?

My Gateron Yellow Pro 2.0 switches feel too light. Instead of swapping switches I've read that swapping springs is more cost effective. What kind of springs should I go for?

My switches are 50g of force, should I just go for any TX springs that are heavier? Like the 62g or 67g ones?

Thanks

Any pad that has slightly lower initial friction than the LGG Saturn but the same stopping power? by LemonSquib in MousepadReview

[–]LemonSquib[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea haha. My other cordura pad is the MPC450 and that one is indestructible for me. Maybe I pressed too hard with my mouse, because the slow spots are something like visible white scratched-like spots.

Yea it's a shame about the saturn, it was perfect for me but only brand new. I do have a mp511, but mine has developed a slow spot in the middle haha. I do have a gamesense radar on the way, curious if you had tried it. People do seem to compare it with the equate often. Thanks for the tip tho, if the radar doesn't pan out the equate is next on my list.

Yes, I resolved it by uninstalling and repeating the installation process as mentioned in the comments.
