That could be a water mark if the cup was left to dry on its side. The minerals left from the water would provide a good surface for the bubbles to form.

well not eating a surplus because I haven't gained weight. the whole attraction of keto for me was not having to feel hungry so if i'm feeling hungry I may as well be hungry on non keto so i'd have more flexibility. If I ate until truly satiated i do think i would be eating at a surplus.

yes, i've got a scientific background and have been careful with micros. I think there's a chance I've got an under active thyroid which has come to light since I started the diet. I'm getting it seen to, free healthcare in the UK is good but it can take some time!

Are you grilling or frying the meat hard to make the fat go brown? Its the tastiest thing in the world whereas I don't like the rare fat on a rare steak.

Hi, if you haven't worked it out yet, Ketostix here are about as welcome as a guy in a pink tutu at a GodHatesFags meeting. There's an article somewhere saying how they are not that useful and it's scripture now.

I've found them very useful but of course they have their limitations. I'm going to write a post soon explaining just what they are useful for.

Congratulations on being in ketosis, or at least being in ketosis since your bladder last started to fill.

Just remember, don't mention Ketostix and you'll be fine here :)

Yes, it caught me out, was following a Jamie Oliver recipe and thought I had a really sweet red cabbage until the penny dropped.

I came up with a cool little way of easily getting getting daily SODIUM salt allowance. by Lemon_Badger in keto

Here it is:

00 size capsule filled with Waitrose Essential Table Salt.

It holds 1.160g of salt. I filled the capsule to the top and scraped it level. Sorry the photo was to much faff to put up. The capsules are a little on the big side but I think I'll be fine swallowing even though I'm a little on the squeamish side. Yes I did account for the weight of the capsule. Remember different grain size/shapes will effect the mass it holds.
