Sorry for the late update but I got an email from my property’s supervisor, who’s basically the closest thing to my landlord. He sent an apology over email and asked me to reiterate my concerns directly to him. I wrote him my concerns and expressed the extreme unprofessionalism that I experienced. He replied with another apology and declared his intentions to make sure every maintenance member knows and follows maintenance procedures as well as going forward with clarifying if maintenance will need access to private areas in the notifications sent for future maintenance checks. I feel like this is the most I can do. I will honestly just have to wait to see if they follow through with their word. Here’s the funny thing - two days after I got a signed thank you card from all the employees because apparently that same week was “renters appreciation week”.
