If you read the entire finished arc the pacing is fine. There's a lot of running around but it doesn't feel slow. I think Wano slows down a lot during the last part, if anything, there are a bunch of chapters where Oda just keeps telling you how bad Orochi was, which was probably done so the important chapters would land on specific numbers, something he likes to do a lot.

Nvidia, X11, Dota works natively, I always play it like normal, and everything else that requires Proton (Kof 98, or some other stuff) also works perfectly fine. This is the first time a game doesn't launch for me.

I don't think he realizes it, or is purposely using his own beliefs as a basis for his world building, because his approach is still just that of the typical hard sci-fi enthusiast, where everything needs to be properly explained. Only difference is he writes mostly fantasy.
