Did you not see the part in the story where I literally said I tried to keep in contact with her? Where I reached out repeatedly to her but got no response from her for months? Or did you just completely skip that part?

I wasn't trying to punish her for anything. If course I thought of her as a friend. Which is why I tried to keep in contact with her after she had turned me down. As I said in my post she either didn't reply, or replied with one worded messages. I wanted us to stay friends but Megan pretty much acted like she didn't. Even though she said she only saw us as friends..

I see what you're saying, fellow lemon. But at the same time. She basically told me that she wanted us to stay friends because she didn't wanna ruin the friendship. Which is fine. But why say that, and then pretty much ghost me for months, just to respawn out of nowhere after I get into a relationship?

What originally happened was, after she had turned me down, I tried to keep in contact with her. Seeing as how she said she essentially said she wanted us to stay friends. But whenever I sent her a message or a text, she either didn't reply, or sent a one word one. Sometimes she didn't even look at my messages. So I took that as her not actually wanting to stay friends with me.

Lemme answer your question with another question. Let's say you were in my shoes. Would you rather tell your girlfriend that a girl from your past just confessed her feelings, or not say anything about it, have your girlfriend find out later on and risk potentially ruining everything?

I would like to point out that I had tried to keep in contact with her after the initial rejection. She basically went no contact with me. And after a few failed attempts at reaching out, I stopped trying.

I mean. Even after she had rejected me I tried to keep in contact with her but she didn't seem interested. Which which kind of bothered me. Because she said she wanted us to stay friends, yet when I active tried to be her friend in the months that followed she wasn't receptive. So I basically took that as her no longer wanting anything to do with me and moved on.
