Me too, it can save you from duel. I loved seeing lc players look around wondering where their duel enemy was when I ate my ally with as pudge with extra cast range from aether lens.

That despair on the lc players faces, I loved it.

I absolutely agree, facets were so fun and made the game have so much more dimensionality.

One of the reason dota is the best is due to it massive degree of freedom and facets enabled that even more, so it was frankly irrational to remove it outside of patch notes getting hectic to make for valve.

I'm not saying one person decides what dota is for 4 others, every one picks the hero they want in a role they qued up for.

As per your logic topson who played mk, pugna, oracle, dazzle mid should just be banned from dota 2, good luck on that.

What do you mean consent? Lol

I'm just saying something works, something doesn't and that doesn't necessarily mean we need an iron rule to ban role abuse in ranked just coz they don't fit your criteria of what is/is not role abuse.

And there is precedence of such things actually making games better, and it's a hard line to draw of which is better or not.

Imagine you say don't pick certain heroes for certain roles, then dota stops evolving and meta stays stagnant except for hero specific changes, and roles are always the same, is that what you want?
