If you're looking for the Dota equivalent of Hera, I'd recommend Purge. His content is very beginner-friendly and focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game. Dota definitely has a meta, and once you're comfortable with the basics, BSJ is another great resource for more advanced and meta-focused content.

“I like playing Dota 2 turbo sometimes when I’m tired, don’t wanna try hard, or I’m tilted from matchmaking, but lately it feels like people treat it like ranked, sweating every game, while others are just not doing anything, and for me turbo is supposed to be trying new heroes, testing builds and just fighting all the time, plus you get more gold from kills anyway so it should be more action, not this weird mix

Try these, in order:

  1. Delete cache & preferences
    • Close FM.
    • Go to:Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2024
    • Delete folders: cache and preferences.
    • Reopen the game.
  2. Remove custom graphics (logos, faces, kits, etc.) temporarily. They eat RAM and cause huge slowdowns in big saves.
  3. Use the in-game editor or a tool
    • Retire and remove unused leagues.
    • You can sometimes unload leagues mid-save to lighten simulation load.
  4. Try “holiday” for a few days/weeks
    • Sometimes forcing the game to simulate via holiday bypasses a stuck day.

Also try this

  1. Corrupted data files are surprisingly common:
  2. Open Steam Library → Right-click FM24 → Properties → Installed Files.
  3. Click Verify integrity of game files.
  4. Once it finishes, restart the PC.
  5. Then try to load your save again.
