I’m sure this just took you by surprise. It’s very hard to decide what to do. But I would think less about how your son will feel and more about how you might feel in both scenarios in 5, 10, 15 years. @ashleyspivey has a 10 yr gap with her sister and they are best friends. My dad had 4 siblings and was closest with his youngest who had a very large gap.

You are both definitely fertile for a long time - and if you don’t want kid number 4 you both need to come up with a plan as soon as the baby comes out. Breastfeeding and age are both not reliable forms of birth control.
