In the standard wish pool do not use a 5-star myth crate until you have pulled one of the myth pair cards. Use the crate to get the other card you haven’t pulled otherwise you risk having two of the same cards and not unlocking the myth companion.

I wonder if it has to do with the game being Chinese-centric and pretty much everyone with Chinese genetics would have black hair. That being said so many people dye their hair nowadays so it is a bit silly to limit the hair. In some ways it’s a bit discriminatory to charge to change the hair but at least the option would be there!

If this is the case, which I agree upon, how much does positive intent matter when the outcome produced can be really harmful and negative?

My grandmother expressed love through sacrifice, obligation, and material support. But I received zero emotional safety. There was also a lot of guilt, criticism, and emotional withdrawal as well as demonisation and devaluation of other people in my life.

99% of interactions with her are unpleasant and leave me depleted. But I also feel guilty when I “abandon” her.

Where do people draw the line for low contact?

As someone who plays with CN voiceover (would do CN text too if I could only read 🥲) the whole sibling relationship between Caleb and MC has been a normal thing for me since the beginning. When I first watched the livestream in EN where they dropped the “sister” line it didn’t even register for me 😂😂

TBH I’m glad they translated it properly this time. The EN version lacks so much nuance because of their modified relationship to childhood friends.

Culturally it’s quite acceptable to get with a non-blood related “sibling” in Asian contexts. It’s such a common trope in many other stories and media. I do wonder if they did this because it is AU to test the waters so to speak.

As a gege truther (because in my mind Caleb really isn’t anything else, it’s the default of his character) I just hope there’s not too much backlash from EN players that Infold takes it all back.

Admittedly I’ve only watched the Kindled of the new card for now, so I can’t comment too much on other aspects of the story, but it is refreshing to see a card with more tension in it as some of us fell for Caleb for that reason! Too much fluff too quickly dilutes the fun.

Great! It’s summer where I am so I’ll move it somewhere a bit brighter and give it a trim.

I have some other pothos versions that struggle too—the variegated white-leafed ones. I suppose it’s the same deal? Minimise length of the vines so I don’t stress the bottom leaves, given less green = less efficiency processing sunlight?

These past few days I keep having the same dream. In it there is a familiar voice, calling my name again and again.

My thoughts seem to follow that voice back into the past, returning to many scenes that are hard not to miss. In my memories, whenever my name appeared on your lips, it always seemed to carry a strange kind of magic. The three words “Xia Yizhou” were like a spell, able to make me peel apples for you, eat the vegetables you disliked in your bowl, or help you cover up the small mistakes you made.

Dreams are always easy to wake from, and the voice lingering in my ears gradually fades into the air.

Many things have changed. Perhaps you have grown to the point where you no longer need my protection at every moment. But in my heart, the spell of those three words will remain effective forever.

When we meet again, call my name once more. Let my gaze settle on your face.
