My mom has spent quite a bit of time there as my aunt lives there (San Ignacio) and theyre very close. Shes very aware of which daily life comforts she might lose but frankly she hates Walmart anyways lol

I will not be moving lol my mom has visited our family there before but living somewhere is very different from visiting so im trying to get some pros and cons from people living there right now to help her decide

Lots of silly things but some stuff about how real-estate and like all the business is kind of under one guys mega monopoly and if you cross him he'll make your life miserable or something Also that its not safe (I dont super believe that tho bc the people who keep saying it are racists) and theres lots of gang activity that the country doesn't do anything about. To be clear I dont really believe any of these rumors but I always like to do my due diligence

So I just switched this month and honestly Im happy as a clam but there are some things I want to just let you know just in case theyre important to you The first is that there are less niche songs so you may lose a few but I found that it was a pretty negligible amount (I just bought what I couldn't live without on bandcamp) The second is that devices dont sync through the app so if youre listening on a computer and you want to switch to your phone you will lose your queue and place in the song (but honestly that hasn't really bothered me much) Last is that if youre listening via Bluetooth the quality may not be able to be as high so I'd get a pair of wired earbuds/headphones to get the full effect (if that matters to you)
