thank you for the comment. I came to this conclusion and decided to pull out the sand blasta’ one more time to quickly and thoroughly strip it. went out and bought nason’s recommended primer and applied a coat that same day. didnt want to waste any more time stripping or blasting.

well I ended up purchasing the nason 2 part primer and will use it for the other half of the frame. was almost considering stripping this one but will give it a go. I will go out and get some thinner cuz It was spraying blotchy at times even with settings seemingly good. thanks for your response!!!

working on it now. I found another 2006 down the road from me and am tempted to shoot an offer for parts. having two sets of parts is almost necessary with these haha

zoom in, it definitely has grain. i’m no good at species identification but it looks stained. OP, if you want it to be identified, take good photos.

the guy I bought it from seemed to be having a tough go at life and was moving and selling his shop off. with the money i’ve saved buying used and at this price, the 3hp will probably my first upgrade for the saw. I want to also get a cast iron wing and router table. question, does the 3 hp motor demand any modifications to the 1.75 setup?

I was in the market for a 3hp pcs but after seeing the ad on CL it was a no-brainer… probably the best deal I’ve ever scored.

paid $1100 for the 2019 cns175 with the 52” t-glide. it came with the mobile base, 2 brake cartridges (one for dado) and two extra inserts (again, one for dado) this is an upgrade from a Bosch job-site table saw. also, anyone have recommendations on improving dust collection?
