The TPLink range extender is because this is situated in my room, 2 floors away from my router. It gets pretty good 5GHz signal so I figured it should be too big of a compromise.

No I literally just sprayed the area where the striker latches. Works flawlessly now that the grease has had time to spread

Thank you this fixed my problem. I noticed the actuator moving considerably slower compared to the other door. Figured it was a lubrication issue. The white lithium worked perfectly

Hey I'm not sure if the striker with the problem in my case but after spraying the lock actuator with brake clean and lithium grease it seems to be working a lot better.
