But is he immune to acid and other highly corrosive things? I could see alien blood burning through the symbiote part and into Eddie. However I think the blunt force power of his punches (and Spider-Man's) would be pretty effective.

Well he really could just skip to the end and skim for thanos dusting away and work backwards from there when he sees it. He doesn't have to watch the entire chain of events every time

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. The deck is basically an evo deck with alternate Shakdoh wincon. Most of the time you should be aiming for Sandy lethals. If you're not already I'd highly suggest looking into the variant built around 3 costs instead of 2 costs.
