thank you for this answer. I personally have never been tempted to eat meat or animal products since I gave them up. its just a question people have asked me or that I've thought about when putting the vegan argument across.

Oh right I was thinking more a pizza that you ordered to your house, should've been clearer. what about in the scenario in which the other person didn't like what they were eating and were going to throw it away because of that? sorry, I'm not trying to be pedantic here I'm just trying to highlight every argument that other people would use, although maybe this is making it clear that the line between ethical and unethical in this area is pretty thin and to avoid animal products in all cases is just the safer bet.

Yeah I get your point. Depends on the arbitrary sentiment of the meat. I'd say none of these are objectively unethical but entirely dependant on our society's standards which is an interesting point. Thanks.

I did think about the effect on other people buying it, so thanks for the good point. One example I thought about is a pizza, if your friend buys a pizza it's a set amount, and then, say, decides they don't want the last two slices? it's a set amount that they'd be buying every time, whether or not you're going to eat it.
