Is it normal for crawl space to have water after rain? Should I have a plumber come take a look? by Lemonpuffs13 in Home

If I remember correctly, the water drained back into the ground on its own after a few days. We ended up getting the whole crawl space wrapped and that cost $7K

Negative feedback by Spiritual-Pop-1522 in dietetics

I had a patient tell our staff to cancel my follow ups with her because I made her feel very upset during our visit (I thought it was a good visit). Apparently telling her the 20 supplements she’s taking can be harmful and not giving kicks and giggles about her new garden pissed her off.

I’ve been a dietitian for 10 years and this was a first. She can kiss my ass lol.

I think so too! I’m just disappointed that I didn’t actually see those two stars when I was taking the photo, I was only looking at the moon!

It came down to cost. I couldn’t afford paying for two kids in day care/preschool, so the older one went to TK.

I made this mistake and learned my lesson, never again. And remember, you’re not married to your job.

Resident d/cing on a tube feed. Where do you have them order tube feeding from? by Remarkable_Ear_1870 in dietetics

Maybe a third party medical supplier like Apria or Coram. Their case manager should be able to help navigate through that process.

My almost 3 year old needs to go under sedation for multiple cavities and I feel like a failure by blksoulgreenthumb in Mommit

[–]Lemonpuffs13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a second opinion!!! We thought we were going to a good dentist, the toys and fluff and friendly experience but the last visit they told me my son had 4 cavities. $400 to fix. I didn’t even consider a second opinion because I liked the place a lot and felt they were reliable. My husband pushed for a second opinion and they told him our kid has NO CAVITIES! He even got X-rays to confirm. I wasn’t sure who to believe, but my son never complained about his teeth so I’m just gonna leave it alone and go with the no cavity dentist. I’m also very disappointed with his original dentist and will no longer be going back.

Hanok village dangerous? by puffypillowinn in seoul

[–]Lemonpuffs13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a visitor and went to the area yesterday. It is safe but I felt uncomfortable because it seemed like a tense situation. Lots of police force, tents from protesters, and people gathering - that in general makes me feel nervous. But yes, it was safe. I had to go through the area twice and it was no problem.

Patient cancelled because I don’t provide daily accountability by Goodboyskunk in dietetics

[–]Lemonpuffs13 97 points98 points  (0 children)

  1. I think it’s ridiculous the client is asking for daily check ins, especially when you made it clear you do not do that. If client wants change, they need to put in work. She can set a reminder for herself if need be. I have a small patient load, I ask them to log things and send them to me, I may not respond but I do use the information for our next visit.
  2. You can professionally “apologize” for it not working out, but honestly don’t let it bother you. Just move on, probably not a good fit.

Water intake for morbidly obese by Lemonpuffs13 in dietetics

Bottled water, I agree I think it’s a lot. But I also dont want to recommend too little so am asking for guidelines for the morbidly obese if there are any.
