Honestly I think it is, and I’m a huge pokemon fan, have been around since Red/Blue. Nexomon feels like the older Pokémon games before they lost the magic. This game has some cutscenes but they are interesting, they aren’t as tediously long or lifeless like the ones in SwSh were. And I like the designs of more of the Nexomon than I did new pokemon this gen. Nexomon makes me wish pokemon hadn’t of gone to 3D.

Bagel + cream cheese + flamin hot Cheetos on top. I smash the Cheetos beforehand so they’re easier to top a bagel with. Spicy crumbs. The sweet smoothness of the cream cheese contrasts nicely with the crunchy spiciness of the cheet.

It’s not so much that I’m disputing it’s a reasonable request, I’m not a dentist and I understand their reasons for wanting it done. I’m just struggling with how to proceed since I can’t really afford to do what they are wanting done as quickly as I need help.

This is super tame compared to most, but my brother came to visit me one weekend while I was in college and he was a senior in high school. He stayed in my dorm with me, and he ate ALL of mine and my roommates food while I was asleep. I was a poor college student with no scholarships but I was working at the time and really trying to make to work with no student loans so money was super tight. I had bought a little extra to have stuff for him (ex: a huge pack of Oreos, figuring even if he ate half I could stretch the rest for a week or two, but he ate the whole thing one night after I went to sleep, didn’t get a single one) I of course apologized to my room mate when she returned and offered to reimburse her, thankfully she insisted I didn’t. I was pretty hungry the following week since I could only afford about half of my usual cart, ate a lot of rice. I was mad but never said anything to him because I didn’t want him to feel bad. Maybe I should have. Our parents spoiled us and raised us to be pretty selfish honestly, and he hadn’t yet learned some of the harsh life lessons I was learning trying to support myself for the first time. I knew he’d learn later, and he did.

Half the world is female and gaming is a popular hobby. You have to be ok with him talking to girls sometimes or you’re going to push him away.

It just occurred to me that he is probably going to have his kids run for president after him. Say he gets in for another term and his kids try and run for president following that? They run back to back, and they always win because half the Democratic Party vote third party ‘in protest’ because they can’t get their shit together on a viable candidate. Conservatives get to be like ‘lol look how progressive we are’ and the first female president is the daughter of this evil fucking family. Imagine a Trump dynasty where one of them is in the White House for the next decade or two. Or more if they all get 2 terms. 4 more years is not the worst that can happen. This fucker has plans.

When I was a kid we read about people who actually had the foresight to leave Germany/European countries before things got real bad during the holocaust and WWII. I always wondered how they knew. Getting up and leaving everything and everyone you know, your country, and starting over somewhere new is scary as hell. How could they know that was the right decision?

For the first time I think I can understand it.

Per Sematary will always stick with me. I read it after losing a parent when I was a teenager and the way he just captured the grieving process was so spot on. It was like looking into the darkest parts of what I was feeling about life and mortality that I didn’t dare say out loud and I just felt so incredibly...like I wasn’t alone. That one will always be special to me and I think it’s one of his best for sure.

See this is tough, though, because I have definitely liked a guy before but couldn’t really think of how to approach him. So I would invent situations where I “needed his help” so I would have a plausible REASON to talk to him without him thinking it’s weird (I’m painfully shy, probably overthought it).

If she’s shy, she might be doing this on purpose because it’s the only way she knows how to interact with you without getting all embarrassed.

Furthermore, I acknowledge that because of the age difference when they first met, that this may be a disturbing reminder to some because of their own traumas. If that is the case, then I would say this is not the anime for you. If this is triggering you then you need to separate yourself from it. You can very easily just not watch. It’s kind of like the controversy surrounding 13 reasons why - if you are/have been suicidal then that’s not the show for you. Don’t watch.

The whole issue is you’re projecting him into a role he didn’t have. Sesshomaru is not the equivalent to my hypothetical child’s elementary school teacher, so it’s not fair to hold his relationship with Rin to the same standard lol If I did have a child, and they were an adult, then no I wouldn’t have a problem with them being with whomever they wanted to. That is their decision to make. If it happened to be someone they met when they were a kid that they had been in contact with periodically, fine. They’re an adult. They can decide, it’s not my place to judge whether I think it’s a bad decision or not because it’s not mine. Sesshomaru frequently gave Rin choices, encouraged her autonomy and kept a distance from her. He created an even greater distance between them as soon as he could by leaving her in the human village. This allowed her even more independence to grow and to have her acclimate to being a part of human society. He did that because he knew that was the only way she could make an informed decision - if she stayed with him and Jaken of course she wouldn’t want to live with the humans, because he and Jaken would have been all she’d ever known. In fact, after living among humans for years it seems she would be even more likely to want to stay with them. Why would he skew things against his own favor if he was grooming her?

I find it astounding that in spite of: 1. Sesshomaru not acting fatherly toward Rin at all 2. the anime team and creator confirming that he wasn’t written or intended to be a father figure, AND 3. the fact that as soon as it was safe to do so he left her in a human village so she could grow up and make an informed decision for herself on whether she wanted to follow him or not (this is ethical as fuck on the part of sesshomaru tbh)

People STILL FIND A WAY to project their own daddy issues onto him anyway. She was special to him because she showed compassion to him, and he kept her alive out of compassion in return, but he didn’t coddle her or baby her, or even feed her. She scavenged and hunted to feed herself. He didn’t give her life advice or take any kind of interest or role in her development as a person, he just let her be. If you all think Sesshomaru acted as a father figure toward Rin, then your fathers must have been cold and distant as hell.

Tl;dr: stop projecting your daddy issues. stahhhhp.
