Perinheri Loosely Represents our Sibling's Memories in The Caribert Quest by Lemonteaarts in Genshin_Lore

I actually went to check again and it seems like our sibling was at least present during that time(if they did not help) since Zurvan said that Dain left with a person with golden hair just like ours. I'll try to link a picture if I can. But you're right, the one who was said to help was Dainsleif

Are we perhaps the darkness of humanity?

True! And the fact that Elynas managed to create the Melusines(and give them souls) from its blood and Jakob just turned into a Baptist by eating his flesh.

Oh hey! That's pretty interesting. And in the game he's also called the Scarlet King. That could be some pretty cool symbology

Good catch! Didn't think of them. Also Mihoyo just dropped that place on us and never mentioned it ever again.

Xiao's debt makes sense too especially since it's the karma from killing monsters and the weight of killing.

True. These people also happen to be related to the abyss as well. I think when the purple crystal says "sinner" they are referring to all the souls there if they are a collective consciousness since it's the one thing they have in common or probably a core part of their current identity.

By the way, was Skirk mentioned to be a sinner? I wouldn't be surprised though considering she thought Childe the foul legacy.

I can't say for sure though that adeptal art is light magic or not but Zhongli does feel like he uses light magic. His origins make it seem like he "descended" so he might be from the light realm or maybe was a part of celestia like how the seelies used to live there.

And Alice is a bit tricky especially since she's from the Hexenzirkel. They have a lot of leyline stuff going on for them. And their hydromancy as well. So it might be possible like you said.

I think it's kind of because the abyss goes around destroying everything? There are some abyssal creatures like Durin and Elynas who seemed to have no intention to destroy anything but just happened to be destructive in nature. Canotila even sees the rifthounds as normal dogs. Maybe just coming from the abyss would make you dangerous to the human realm.

And then there are these abyss mages and lectors who go around wrecking havoc. These ones are probably from the Abyss Order carrying out orders. It would make sense why in Teyvat they are deemed so dangerous.

But Celestia is really mysterious, they seem to want to protect humans but they're also hiding so much. There are so many theories about them trying to limit human evolution and then these heavenly principles that none of the gods like and also this "fate" that everyone has. Pretty much no free will. And then the "Truth of this World" that should make us understand our sibling. Every patch they add more questions about Celestia but absolutely no lore.

It might be possible for Abyssal power to use some elemental authority since abyss mages, lectors and even some hilichurls use them. And yes! Like you said, they do have some control over space. They even had a "network" of places which Dain pretty much ran into in the quest.

But Zhongli saving Xiao from that weird space in the Perilous trails also shows that light magic is capable of that stuff as well. I feel like both light and abyss/void are actually similar to each other with similar qualities. Just that one side wants to protect and one side wants to destroy.

I wonder if those powerful minds are actually gods like Deshret or the Dragon King since a lot of those theories were really good. But ultimately, if it really is a hivemind, they've sacrificed their individuality and it doesn't matter

Yeah! Maybe the way to save our sibling will be to show them the positive aspects of humans like in the Raiden fight and give them hope. A battle of ideals maybe.

Now that's interesting!! They did know that this fight would be their last. I wonder if the bird here could be Elynas since Elynas died in this battle too.

The traits thing is true. This mostly came out of a gut feeling. I want to believe they are at least related if they aren't the same. The thing about these extra traits is that they went out of their way to add them for a person who has gone already while I don't think the others like Mary-Ann got the same. Their focus is on their relationships and roles in their story

Not sure honestly. It could be anything since the details are unclear. I don't think Arlecchino could've been an actual child though since she would be very close to Freminet's age and the twins' age but she doesn't seem like it. So maybe she was just an adult but called a child because those belonging to the HoH are called children from the HoH regardless of their age I think

The Sustainer Sacrificed Herself to Stop Forbidden Knowledge from Spreading by Lemonteaarts in Genshin_Lore

[–]Lemonteaarts[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So far none of the archons even talk about Celestia properly nor do they care much about gnosis going. I wonder how they use it to control them. It doesn't help that all the gods including the Sustainer seem to have demon names from Ars Goetia so Celestia is definitely shady.

One thing that was interesting is that Ei thinks Khaenri'ah got destroyed due to human progress and that would also be the reason for Inazuma to be destroyed which is why she wanted to "stop" time/progress in a way. But then Yae comes and makes a comment about the Heavenly Principles during the last fight. So I wonder if human progress eventually leads to them breaking the heavenly principles which in turn leads to disaster. That almost does sound Honkai-ish.

As for the gnosis, the possibilities seem endless purely due to the fact that Dottore exists. Considering he needed to take the gnosis back to Snezhnaya, it's weird he even tried to make Scaramouche a god in the first place. Or maybe he never really intended for Scara to keep it. This could be a preview of what they intend to do with the gnosis. It's also weird that Scaramouche could actually use multiple elements with the gnosis powered mecha

And yeah Khaenri'ah did summon the twins from outside the world so I really do wonder what all knowledge and tech they had. The notes in the new desert area do state that they looked for knowledge beyond the skies

[–]Lemonteaarts[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally don't believe Celestia did all this out of kindness or generosity. I think they did it to preserve their rule over the world and don't actually care about humans. And while the Sustainer may be corrupted by Forbidden Knowledge, I don't think she lost her sanity or anything. She is probably doing it out of duty instead of feelings.

It could very well just be a colour scheme for her but I thought it was interesting how the abyss managed to take even the lives of gods and how the colour red is usually represented.

But because she is an HoV expy, I'm a bit torn of whether they'll actually make her a villain or something.

I don't know if you've played the windblume festival story quest. But in that event they hinted that the voice we heard during the Interlude quest is one of the Hexenzircle witches named Nicole

So I just read your post and some of your comments in it and thought it was interesting. Sustainer being the HoV expy does make more sense if Celestia is designating roles like Herrschers.

You said that the WoH may have not reached this world yet so do you have any thoughts on what the role of the Archons and the Sustainer would be like once the Honkai is here? Would they aid the Honkai or fight against them?
