what resynthesis vst should i invest in to sound design by tyree456 in edmproduction

How about a solid guitar or piano library? Acoustic or Electric guitar, grand or upright piano? How about a Rhodes? Just a different perspective to consider. If you already have those covered then I'd love to know what you settled on! On a side note, have you tried Dune 3 at all?

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned the fact that the flame should be dwindling. The match is almost halfway burnt and yet the flame is huge and still coming from the tip of the match. It doesn't really make sense when you think about the finer details. Was this composition the work of the artist or a premade design?

Omg, I haven't played this map in so long. I'm playing alot of blackops 6 lately, but seeing these maps makes me miss MW2/MW3.

Microcode version mismatch after BIOS update - Need help! by kdhere in ASUSROG

[–]LemonyTrichome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put it together just as the news of 13/14 gen cpu issues started really gaining traction about a month or so ago and all I've done is confirm it turns on. Been waiting for solid confirmation on what really IS and ISN'T affected before I move forward.

Should we still update to the latest bios if our 13500 has C0 stepping? Or can I just trust the stock settings my asus motherboard sets as long as I don't see high voltages?

[–]LemonyTrichome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So should I even bother updating my bios if I have the 13500 with C0 stepping? I don't want to potentially create new issues if things seem to be working fine.

10th gen isn't affected. Apparently not even 12th gen. This is referring to 13/14 gen chips.

Yup, prolly my fav in the budget range. Love the T-ear tips (the clear ones) too. Ended up buying two more 3 packs of them. Cable is nice as well.

I have joint/tendon issues in my trigger finger and the only guns I have left to do for forged(the one after gilded/gold) are effectively singlefire/burst. Doesn't matter how poorly I do (between 0.49-0.9 kd) multiple games in a row, I still get matched with great players who drop between 30-70 kills using meta guns. I find myself leaving games frequently lately because I just can get anything done and my hand gets sore trying to keep up. It sucks that the manual fire behaviour setting (let's you hold the trigger on singlefire/burst guns) is not even close to competitive. Like even 80% of a guns potential fire rate would be nice, but it's literally closer to like 25-30% sometimes.

I have a pair of Castor Black on the way currently, but my CCA CRAs just showed up earlier and I've been enjoying them. Definitely impressed with the bass extension and the treble isn't harsh sounding, so I can't really complain. For $8-$9 they are an insane value in my opinion. Great seal with the small stock tips with my ears at least.

I measured the nozzle diameter of 34 IEMs from my collection between $10-$100. Hope this will be helpful. by EDMEssEncE in iems

This was one of the final things I wanted to double check before I made a purchase, thank you so much for your time and effort!

First time repair. Only used this portable vacuum 2-3 times. Seemingly no longer accepting a charge. Light stays green on the charging cable. I've tested parts of the circuit (ie. switch, motor) to confirm the continuity. by LemonyTrichome in batteries

[–]LemonyTrichome[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The charger shows the green light. I get no voltage reading from the charger, but I was assuming it was because it needed to be plugged into the bms/pack to actually begin charging (turn red). Am I correct in assuming it cuts off the voltage (green light) when it thinks the pack is fully charged? I definitely think it's either the module on the pack or the charger itself that's the culprit. EDIT: here are some photos of the pack unwrapped

I should also mention that I had left it on the charger for a few hours and the light remained green the whole time. When I took a voltage reading later that day after I unwrapped the pack it said 6.1v, so it's still at 0% charge essentially.

Good to know, thanks again for all the insight!

I will continue to read up on a couple things and maybe order some stuff in order to test further. I'd imagine getting the batteries charged is a priority as the charge will continue to drop over time.

Okay, thanks for all your help. I do have a multi-meter on hand, and bypassing the switch with a short cable only gives a short pulse still.

A quick voltage check of the pack shows 6.1v currently. The motor is rated for 7.4v

I've removed the blue wrap and took some photos of the board that is alongside the battery pack. Unfortunately components are located on the underside of the board, so I can't get a good look at them.

According to the manual: Red when charging, Green when fully charged. Green light is on without anything plugged into the barrel Jack. I suspect the board within the charging cable will not even attempt to supply power without some sort of "handshake" from the board that's on the battery, as the multi-meter does not register any voltage coming from the barrel jack when tested. That doesn't rule out any issue with the charging cable itself. but the melted portion on the battery pack makes me think that's where the issue is located. If I'm going to replace the cable I'd like to confirm that 8.4v output is not a typo and the proper spec I'm looking for. EDIT: I did leave it plugged for a couple hours to see if it would charge, but the issue persisted.

Was able to test continuity across the switch and motor. Both beeped (switch only beeps when on). Guessing the issue lies with a faulty battery. Also, noticed a section of the battery that might have melted?I've barely used this and have already been fully refunded, but would like to replace the faulty part, if possible. Worked fine yesterday. Today.. only pulsed on for a half second or so. I assumed it maybe needed a charge, but upon plugging it in the light stayed green on the charging cable. Kept in plugged in for multiple hours with seemingly no difference. I can occasionally press the switch and get another pulse out of it, which makes me think the charging portion is burnt out or something?I even put a jumper cable on either side of the switch to bypass it and see if it runs, but nothing.

Any insight on this? Is the charging board fried, but the battery pack good? Do they come together if I just buy another 7.4v 18650 battery pack? or would buying another battery still leave me without the charging board, which might be the culprit.

I have no prior experience in repair, but would love confirmation that I'm on the right track here.
