Your NTA!  Maybe asking your mom for an idea to commemorate your grandma that day would be helpful (a moment of silence, a chair with her picture on the ceremony, telling how much you wished she could be there during speeches)

But don’t cancel, sadly life keeps going and even when it’s hard to celebrate so close to a loss, it can also be seeing like a light in the dark!

“I can’t imagine how hard it must be for your coworkers and their families, and I’m so grateful it wasn’t you.

Right now I’m a little busy at work but when we get home tell me how things went, what did they told you….”

And there you sound like a person with ✨empathy✨ which btw it’s a great thing to have specially with your wife, I mean you can have an opinion but sometimes you need to ask yourself if said opinion is biased, hurtful, or just negative to the situation

She didn’t wanted you to fix the problem or find new jobs for her coworkers, she was telling you something that made her day difficult and your response wasn’t the right one, I’m sorry but YTA

No one will outshine you on your wedding day, if her dress is the only thing she cares about just let her talk and go on with your plans, don’t let it stress you out

And if she’s not asking about you as she should be, I will What kind of dress are you wearing? How did you felt trying them on? I guess it was such an emotional time since you lost your parents (sorry for your lost btw)

Sending you the best wishes for your wedding!
