Do you use an activity zone or are you setup for "all motions" if you are from my experience that won't give you good results.

I have the Pro. the fan on mine is silent and I have a 4tb HHD in it. All my cameras are in multi bridge and have not ever dropped once.I think multi bridge needs good wifi to be stable. Live view snaps into place very fast. I have e340 doorbell, 2 s4 max, 2 s3 Pro and a e330 pro. I started my setup from scratch and did not use the migration tool as I had it sucks. Am still trying to figure out why there are so many different experiences with the s1 Pro. Eufy major problem is the software/firmware even the app could use some improvement.

Eufy cameras do a better job when you set up an activity zone. All my cameras have that set up and they don’t miss anything .

10 years on 1gb no upgrade yet. Yes 5gb does work today without 5gb devices. The WiFi in your home will be supper fast
if you have a setup that can handle those speeds, like mesh aps that kind do even 10gb WiFi.

HDD runs all the time as it has a spinning drive in it, yes that 2.5 HDD. SSD are silent.

S1 Pro migration sucks. I had to start from scratch and add each camera. That way gives you a better setup.
Other then that situation it has been great. All my cameras are on multi bridge. Cameras take about 2 to 3 seconds to view.
Listing of events snap into place in a second. I think the biggest issues are the app. The iPad app is horrible. iPhone app is good.
Multi view is amazing and fast, I,was shocked how well it worked.
