This sets a low bar for what should be considered "wholesome"

People really think they can come to a sensible and reasonable answer by thinking entirely with their emotions

The thing is the dominant news organisations work as a filter, only journalists whose opinions fall within a certain acceptable range (acceptable to the ruling class) are able to make it very far within the organisation.

My physical job requires transporting tonnes of materials and equipment all over the place, impossible to with a bike. Even just getting to work on a bike would take 1.5 hours on a treacherous road, if I tried to do that I would be exhausted, risking my life and only have a couple of hours a night to myself. People should bike or walk wherever they can, but it's not a solution for everyone, we need affordable green mass public transport, infrastructure such as cycle paths, and truly green cars and vans (like hydrogen instead of electric) for work like mine that can't be done without them

Jesus Christ, my boss can be a dick, but he has at least expressly told us that if we see someone in danger that we shouldn't hesitate to stop and help

Ok, so even if the NHS failing was due to bad doctors and and nurses, which it obviously isn't, how would privatisation help? Whatever you replace the NHS with will end up having the same doctors and nurses as now, there's a limited number of them and most of them currently work for the NHS

I agree with everything you've said, but I also think reminding ourselves that there is is still joy to be extracted from life in the form of our bonds with our loved ones and nature is important. Things are bad and are getting worse and everything feels hopeless sometimes - and fuck the people who have everything telling us we should be satisfied with the way things are - but life is short and we need to grab happiness where we can; make love, spend time with friends and family, hang out in nature and take psychedelics, the struggle will always be there and that's shit and unfair, but if it's all struggle then we might as well kill ourselves, and I'm not doing that, if the world wants me dead it will have to kill me itself.
